First Day of Preschool!

Posted on September 2, 2009 at 7:03 PM

One of the things that sucks being a working mom is missing out on big days.  Today was one of them.  I took off monday to go to the meet and greet with the girls teachers, but sadly that meant missing that all important first day.

Luckily I have an amazing Momma, who took tons of pics for me!  (although the girls were not inclined to coorporate with the picture taking!)

Checking out their folders with all their important information!  Isabelle is VERY into her bunny!

In front of the church fountain.  When they went in, Ms. Donna met them as they were walking down the stairs. She asked Issy if she was ready to go to class.  Issy took her hand and walked down the stairs without Nana while gabbering to Ms. Donna. Ms.  Donna then asked her if she knew where her class was and she REMEMBERED from MONDAY!

They discovered this toy as soon as they walked in the room!  It quickly became Makenna and Alyssa's FAVORITE thing.

Isabelle however moved onto the peg activity!

They Learned:

The Letter of the Day: A

Number of the Day: 1

Shape of the Day: Circle

and

Color of the Day: Red

(And since my girls have known these for ages, I am pretty sure they were top of their class!  Look out Harvard, here they come!)

So overall it was a great day for them and I am really pleased that they enjoyed the day!
